Abstract	Education abroad is a rapidly expanding opportunity for undergraduate students in the United States. Concurrent with this growth in total numbers is a growth in the diversity of participants. Students with different ethnic backgrounds, academic majors, age, socioeconomic status, and disabilities are increasingly seeking opportunities overseas. In order to provide effective support to this expanding group of participants, administrative offices across campus need to coordinate support services and design effective advising procedures. This chapter focuses on the key support services and advising procedures that institutions of higher education should have in place in order to guide students with disabilities as they explore and participate in education abroad opportunities. The eight themes that this chapter explores provide both theoretical considerations and practical suggestions or resources for student services offices to consider when guiding students with disabilities. A summary list of key resources is provided in the chapter appendix for convenient future reference. The authors recognize that resources and student needs fluctuate and hope that the information contained in this chapter serves as a foundation for effective support through changing times. (ERIC).
