Abstract | This article presents the results of a Delphi study concerning the futures of teaching and learning in International Business (IB), a topic that has been receiving a lot of discussion during recent years. Based on our findings we identify two dimensions which may be at the core and instrumental for developing the value proposition of IB. The first dimension is the product of intensified interactions of phenomena on many levels of analysis and the second dimension is a result of the increased need for integration of discipline-based theories. These two dimensions are the basis of a framework that illustrates the high degree of complexity IB is tackling and provides possible pathways for future-oriented programme design.
