Abstract | This article provides suggestions that can help community-college leaders reach the top and stay there. One way is to distinguish oneself in a positive way. It requires a record of making a positive difference in the lives of students, faculty members, and members of the community. Another way is to develop and maintain a peer network who can give useful advice, or at least listen to one's problem with empathy. (ERIC). |
