Abstract | This paper takes the fact that lifelong learning has become a global formula as its starting point and analyses the political documents and activities resulting from the Fifth International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA V) from a world polity perspective. It examines the extent to which lifelong learning can be seen as a norm within world culture that shapes present-day social actors, i.e. individuals, organizations and states. (As Provided). |
