Abstract | The article explores the relationships of feminist organisers with government policy makers and within their own organisations. Based on a qualitative study of eight directors and eight board members of grassroots feminist organisations, this paper examines how the funder (State) and the women (executive directors and board members) interact and exercise power. Using a Foucauldian post-structuralist lens, the article contributes to an understanding of power, discourse, policy, and learning. (Author). |
