Abstract	This article announces the 96th NCTE Annual Convention which is to be held in Nashville, Tennessee. For the component of the upcoming convention, the Secondary Section Steering Committee has created an extensive program that the organizers hoped to meet the needs of both new and experienced teachers. During the convention, over 142 individual and panel/conversation sessions on the topics of technology, reading and writing, professional development, pop culture, teacher education, and other relevant and essential issues are expected to be presented. In addition, the organizers will once again offer High School Matters, a two-hour roundtable workshop, featuring five speakers--Carol Jago, Jim Burke, John Golden, Dixie Goswani, and Jane Braunger--on a myriad of topics.
