| Abstract | This article discusses the Bologna transformations. The Bologna transformations represent a phenomenon that is strictly European, and they are supposed to result in solutions to a number of chiefly economic problems that confront the leading countries of Central Europe. The author discusses the positive and negative consequences of Russia's participation in the Bologna Process. The potential drawbacks include, the possible lowering of the level of self-sufficiency and the attractiveness of the Russian system of education. Among other things, the author discusses the current situation of education reforms in Russian higher education. (ERIC). |
