Abstract | Examined teachers' perceptions of school violence, changes made as a result of violence, and overall school climate at a small, rural high school. Focus group data indicated that teachers had school climate concerns and feared school violence. They noted the need for an adequate physical structure to promote overall safety. They felt they should have a preventive role but were not taking many actions in this regard. (SM) |
