Abstract | Investigated what a narrative, dialogical research process could reveal about the lives of three bilingual high school students, noting how critical dialogues could connect bilingual students' lives with the curriculum and examining the role of teacher education in fostering dialogue. Results highlighted students' lack of critical engagement in school. The potential for a dialogical approach to learning was clear through the interactions of students, researchers, and preservice teachers. (SM) |
