Abstract | Focuses on 9th grade students' difficulties in learning ecology. Identifies three dimensions as basic obstacles that might hinder students' meaningful learning in ecology: (1) the microlevel dimension; (2) the spatial dimension of ecosystem; and (3) the time dimension.
