Abstract | A case study of adult educators' use of negotiation identified two types of negotiation: (1) substantive negotiations in which they develop programs within the context of power relations and (2) meta-negotiations in which they attempt to change or maintain the power relations. Meta-negotiations directly affected the outcomes of substantive negotiations. (SK) |
