Abstract | Examines differences in self-exploration among students at colleges with varying admissions selectivity. Measures of students from three colleges show that students at the nonselective college reported a more diffuse/avoidant identity style than students at the other two schools. Students at the highly selective college indicated a strong information-oriented identity style. (RJM) |
