Abstract | Empire State College grew out of the counterculture of the late sixties. As it evolved, its mission and programs have become as diverse as the adult students the college has come to serve. Many faculty retain an allegiance to individual education; the needs of adult learners have led to a proliferation of delivery models. (Author) |
