Abstract | Analyzes the effects of gender and time of attendance on children's adjustment to English nursery classes attached to primary schools. Results show boys were perceived as less well adjusted to school than are girls. Afternoon attendees were found to be less well adjusted than morning attendees. Discusses strategies to help those who are less well adjusted. (NL) |
