Abstract | Subjects for research in graduate psychology departments are frequently drawn from subject pools of undergraduates in introductory courses. Participation is often included among course requirements. A survey found some deviance from American Psychological Association (APA) ethical guidelines or federal law. Exemplary subject pool procedures and policies are summarized and recommended. (AF) |
