Abstract | Comparison of academic performance of 24 accelerated students and two groups of college students averaging four years older (24 matched on readiness scores and 24 National Merit Scholars) indicated that accelerated Ss earned cumulative grade point averages comparable to those earned by Merit Scholars and signficantly higher than readiness-matched Ss.
