Abstract | The Bunumbu project was designed to improve the quality of the rural primary education system in Sierra Leone (Africa) through an improved teacher-education program. Primary school teachers, trained in community development skills, adult education, agricultural sciences, crafts, rural technology, and home economics serve in pilot schools in 20 villages. (AM) |
