Abstract | Studied invisible (N=26) and popular (N=26) children selected sociometrically from 383 third-sixth graders. Self-anchoring scales revealed a reverse in comparisons of their future perspectives; popular children scored significantly lower. Popular minority group children were anticipating a tougher life and harder battles ahead. (Author/RC) |
