Abstract | A study is reported that examines the influence of rural or urban backgrounds on physicians and their spouses in their choices of location for practicing medicine. The results indicate that the size of community of origin of both physicians and their spouses seems to be a poor indicator of medical practice location in Arizona and New Mexico. (JMD) |
