AbstractAs part of the network hub for CARPE College Access Network, a coalition of 30 schools across Southern California working to ensure that more students who are Black, Latinx, Indigenous, or experiencing poverty apply to and enroll in colleges where they are most likely to graduate, the authors provide support to team members to use continuous improvement processes in their work. They do this to create more consistently reliable and equitable systems, where a student's experiences and outcomes are not dependent on which school or class they attend, let alone the color of their skin or their family's socioeconomic status. Inspired by the success of live cases in health care, the authors adopted the approach with their network of schools. The goal of this approach is reciprocal learning, where each team is adding value to the other's work. This article provides steps for conducting live cases and explains lessons learned to make them as productive as possible. Connecting educators to each other and publicly sharing their learning is a systematic way of learning from variation, nurturing curiosity and humility, and spreading good ideas. (ERIC).
