Abstract | As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Clemson University Paralympic Soccer program transitioned its in-person soccer camps for veterans with a disability to a virtual format. Providing veterans with experience playing the game rather than just learning about the game in a classroom environment is an effective way to increase buy-in, activity, and involvement. Therefore, with the transition, the on-field sessions were also delivered virtually with veterans taking part from their own living rooms, kitchens, backyards, or other small spaces. From these sessions, we learned that it is possible to run active virtual sessions for individuals of all levels of ability even if they only have a small space available, running sessions virtually can provide opportunities for active involvement in sport that may otherwise be difficult for individuals with disabilities, and positive and corrective feedback to participants helps them remain motivated and excited to take part in the activity.
