Abstract	In the present study, the authors focus on putting forward the thoughts of Syrian immigrant students at Turkish universities citizenship about citizenship from an Arendtian viewpoint. The authors investigated the thoughts and experiences of participants using qualitative research and a phenomenological design. The participants are Syrian students at Turkish universities. In order to ascertain the participants, criterion sampling method was used. The collected data was analyzed through a three-step model by exploring the data to obtain a holistic understanding of it, (en)coding the data and determining the themes. After all those procedures, the themes were reached as: the myth of acceptance at first glance, temporary togetherness, and university as a life-saver. (As Provided).
