Abstract | Effective translation instruction is crucial to the improvement of translation competence and language abilities of undergraduates majoring in translation. On the basis of an analysis of the problems in translation teaching, this paper provides an overview of the development of translation teaching reform, and puts forward some suggestions on translation teaching in terms of teaching philosophy, teaching content, teaching methods and assessment system.
