Abstract | Please join us on this learning romp, which includes anarchists, discomfort, flying projectiles, Ministries of Truth, anger, and naked emperors. This paper is an example of, and a reflection on, the praxis of Participatory Action Research as a way of life. It is the result of a reflective conversation between two researchers. We got together in order to reflect on the superpowers that we bring to our research. We explore three superpowers that we have in common: unstoppable curiosity, willingness to dissent, and leveling up. Drawing upon our experience as co-researchers, we explore the implications of asking who decides "when" we qualify as researchers. Reflecting about our research superpowers helps us to sustain our relationship, and engage in further shared cycles of reflection and action. (As Provided). |
