Abstract | This study pilot tested an employability skills rubric (ESR) to support the summary of performance (SOP) requirement in Individuals With Disabilities Education Improvement Act. The ESR consisted of three performance areas: (a) Responsibility, (b) Problem-Solving Skills, and (c) Interpersonal Skills. The study sought to establish (a) interrater reliability, (b) the degree of agreement among raters, and (c) assessment of feedback regarding the ESR. The instrument was pilot tested with 19 local educational agencies. Most items had correlations in the moderate range and large effect sizes. There was a high level of internal consistency for each rubric and respondents indicated that the ESR identified important skills and appropriate measures related to the SOP. (As Provided). |
