Abstract | Faculty and faculty developers can improve student learning and outcomes in gateway courses by improving course design, integrating active learning, and aligning assessments with course goals. Drawing on the authors' varied experiences and a large national initiative, this chapter outlines challenges and strategies to support gateway-course faculty development. (As Provided). |
