Abstract | "Research in the Teaching of English" (RTE) is the flagship research journal of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) in the United States. It is a broad-based, multidisciplinary journal composed of original research articles and short scholarly essays on a wide range of topics significant to those concerned with the teaching and learning of languages and literacies around the world, both in and beyond schools and universities. The theme of this Special Issue is: "100 Years of Research" and addresses the following topics: (1) Digital/Technology Tools; (2) Discourse/Cultural Analysis; (3) Literacy; (4) Literacy Response/Literature/Narrative; (5) Media Literacy/Use; (6) Professional Development/Teacher Education; (7) Reading; (8) Second Language Literacy; and (9) Writing. [As was the case with the 2010 version of the bibliography, the bibliography is now available solely as a downloadable pdf file at http://www.ncte.org/journals/rte/issues/v46-2.] (ERIC). |
