Abstract | This study compares the relative effectiveness of two types of visual materials used alone and in combination in a persuasive speech on attitude change, credibility, and retention. Concludes that such aids can affect attitude change and speaker credibility even though they may have little or no effect on retention of content. (Author/JB) |
