Abstract | The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of online learning in a rural school district post-COVID-19. The study investigated students', parents', and teachers' experiences to gain insights into online learning as pandemic-related restrictions eased. Students' work-related attitudes and academic progress were also examined to document how students progressed through a remote learning program. This research involved a case study design based on Stake's (1995) model. Data from interviews, observations, and written documents (e.g., students' progress reports and grades) were coded and qualitatively analyzed to reveal key themes related to students' online learning engagement. Results helped to clarify students' experiences with online learning after the pandemic. Findings also revealed ways to enhance the effectiveness of remote learning.
