AbstractThe Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) is an international, non-profit educational organization. The Association's purpose is to advance the knowledge, theory, and quality of teaching and learning at all levels with information technology. "E-Learn 2016: World Conference on E-Learning" took place in Washington, DC, November 14-16, 2016. This year's conference again covered many different topics from serious games, iPads in classrooms, artificial intelligence and blended learning to teaching Innovation as a subject to students. The following are the award papers presented at the conference: (1) The Why, How, and Findings from Teaching Innovation to Middle and High School Students (Geoff Wright and Matthew Jones); (2) Guide on the Side: Reconsidering the faculty role in student-centered online learning (Richard Pierce); (3) Higher Education Faculty Utilization of Online Technological Tools: A Multilevel Analysis (Brianne Leigh Moore-Adams); and (4) Motivation, Interaction and Perceived learning: assessing the impact of an urban game with 7th grade geography students (Liliana Vieira and Clara Coutinho).
