Abstract | Career and Technical Education (CTE) standards can be defined as clearly articulated expectations of what students should know and be able to do at the end of a CTE program or course. Similar to other academic standards, CTE standards may be course specific and created in conjunction with expert and community stakeholder input and review. This Center on Standards and Assessments Implementation (CSAI) update outlines what CTE standards are and their role in educational offerings for students. Included are resources that can be used to guide the development of CTE standards or programs. (ERIC). |
