Abstract	The evidence is clear and convincing: Investments in quality child care and full-day pre-K more than pay for themselves and are proven strategies for reversing the growing income inequality in New York State, the most extreme in the nation. New York State leaders must build opportunity and stem inequality by expanding investments in quality child care and full-day pre-K. This report tracks the progress of New York State leaders in making quality pre-K and child care a priority in 2017.
