| Abstract | The Washington State Department of Early Learning (DEL), in collaboration with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), submits this preliminary report to detail quality control measures in the Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) program. This report highlights existing quality control measures and efforts in reducing overpayments due to unintentional errors. Additionally, this report describes the procurement of an electronic attendance tracking system which is intended to enhance quality control measures already underway for WCCC. DEL has also developed other measures to identify and address program violations in child care subsidy programs to mitigate the potential for fraud. (ERIC). |
