Abstract	The research entitled, "An Exploratory Study of Parental Involvement and Technology: Their place in Early Childhood Education," is an exploratory study of the impact of parental involvement and technology on student readiness for and success in early childhood education. Early home life and parental experiences play a very important role in shaping a child's development. Technology also plays a pivotal role in the educational development of students. Research in this study provided an enhanced understanding of the relationship concerning parental involvement and technology related early childhood education. The quantitative data was obtained from the National Household Education Survey (NHES). This research utilized NHES's Early Childhood Program Participation (ECPP) survey and the Parent and Family Involvement (PFI) in Education survey. Data from this survey were analyzed using Chi-Square and regression analysis. Parents' perception into the use of technology in addition to parental involvement was also explored to better inform and ensure validity of the findings using a sample from an urban area located in the southeastern part of the United States.
