| Abstract | This study addressed the implementation of interactive whiteboards (IWBs) on academic achievement in a Georgia public high school. The researcher studied the effects of the implementation of IWBs on Georgia's end-of-course test (EOCT) scores and satisfaction of students with this method of instruction. The researcher compared EOCT scores of a Georgia high school the year before and after IWBs were used. A satisfaction survey was also developed and used to evaluate if students were satisfied with being instructed with IWBs. Based on the results, students were satisfied with this type of instruction. However, only one academic area resulted in improved test scores. Overall, the results of the study do not support the use of IWBs.
