Abstract | The BC Diploma, Associate Degree, and Certificate Student Outcomes (DACSO) Survey (formerly the BC College and Institute Student Outcomes Survey) collects and disseminates information about former students' post-secondary experiences and their subsequent labour market and further education experiences. The survey is administered annually to former students from participating British Columbia institutions. The findings are used to help students make educational choices, to evaluate the success of the diploma, associate degree, and certificate system in achieving its mandate, and to provide information to institutions for educational planning. This report presents institution-specific summaries of Key Student Outcomes Indicators (KOIs). The key outcomes indicators are presented in groupings that correspond to the survey's main themes: respondent attributes, satisfaction levels, employment outcomes, and further education. Many of the variables and indicators considered key for education planning are presented in this report for each of the participating institutions. Appended are: (1) Response Rates; and (2) Interpretation of Results: Values, Indices, and Standardization. (Contains 1 table.) (ERIC). |
