AbstractThis document was produced by the authors based on their research for the report, "Private Training Providers: Their Characteristics and Training Activities," [ED495181] and is an added resource for further information. That study examined the nature of the training activity of private registered training organisations (RTOs) offered to Australian students in 2003, based on data from a national sample of 330 RTOs. This support document presents a Literature Review (Appendix A); Methodology (Appendix B); First Draft of Interview Schedule (Appendix C); Cognitive Testing Protocol (Appendix D); Interview Schedule Used in the Study (Appendix E); Primary Approach Letter (Appendix F); Non-Participant Organisational Information (Appendix G); Further Data (Appendix H); Specific Forms of Assistance Provided by Private Providers for Indigenous Students (Appendix I); and Factors Cited by Interviewees as Promoters or Inhibitors of Growth in Their Registered Training Organization (Appendix J).
