| Abstract | Seven issues of Fast Facts from the Library Research Service that cover information from libraries across Colorado are contained in this document. These issues focus on topics from various library sectors and include patron use of AskColorado (a statewide virtual reference service) and the rising use of online services, Colorado public library rankings (nationally including its relation to budget cuts), and challenged materials in 2004. The following are Fast Facts titles from 2005: (1) AskColorado Use Continues to Grow in Second Year; (2) State's Public Libraries Still Place Colorado in Top 10 But Rankings Slipping After 2002-03 Cuts; (3) Colorado's Low Ranking on State Funding for Public Libraries Plummets Further; (4) Eight Out of Eleven Colorado Library Ballot Measures Win Voter Approval; (5) Challenged Materials in Colorado Public Libraries, 2004; (6) Public Use and Support Skyrocket When New Libraries Are Built; and (7) Librarian Jobs in Colorado Public Libraries, 1990-2004.
