Abstract | This pamphlet, in Spanish, intended for postsecondary students with disabilities, explains the rights and responsibilities of these students and the obligations of a postsecondary school to provide academic adjustments. The federal legislation on which the information is based is described. Information for students is presented in question and answer form. Topics covered include denial of admission because of disability, academic accommodations, documentation needed to establish disability status, and how to address discrimination.
