| Abstract | Articles in this volume focus on the following: specialized research; methodological challenges; establishment of a categorization system for sociometric analysis and its application in the multicultural classroom; a case study of factors to prevent school failure in children at risk; the KeyMatch-R scale (study of a curriculum-related diagnostic instrument); a study of the external validity of the Sternberg Triarchic Abilities Test (STAT); predictors for the outcome of doctoral studies and differences between hard sciences and technology studies and social and humanitarian studies; accordance and errors (type I and II) in primary logopedical diagnostics; a methodological approach to evaluating nonuniversitarian educational expenditures of communities; a case study of the autonomous community of the Murcia region of Spain; an analysis of covariant structures in the study of the teaching quality of university professors; and a comparison of statistical methods for evaluating the differential item functioning.
