Abstract	This guide provides detailed listings of more than 2,600 programs sponsored by U.S. and foreign universities, language schools, and a wide variety of other organizations. Most educational opportunities listed in this directory are available to undergraduates, but many programs are open to precollege students, graduate students, teachers, professionals, and other adults. Options range from lecture courses and intensive language immersions to internships, student teaching, field research, and voluntary service. The body of the guide consists of program descriptions arranged alphabetically by geographic region and country. There is also a "worldwide" section for programs that are active in more than one area. Each listing provides information on the institutional sponsored and enrollment and contact information. A sample listing explains each section of the description. Programs are also indexed by sponsoring institution, consortia, fields of study, special options, cost ranges, and duration. (SLD)
