Abstract | This guide is designed to help Minnesota high school students in their educational planning by describing the policies of colleges and universities in Minnesota regarding college credit for Advanced Placement (AP) examinations in high school. The AP policies of most Minnesota institutions of higher learning are represented in this guide. Institutions that are part of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities have adopted a uniform policy for awarding credit based on student performance on AP examinations. The policy as stated in this guide is followed by member institutions, but many have individually approved additional credit-equivalent guidelines that are spelled out in the guide. Information is provided on an individual basis for 26 public colleges and universities and 21 private institutions. (SLD) |
