Abstract	This ReadWriteNow! activity poster presents, on one side, a colorful image of Arthur the Aardvark encouraging adults and children to share the fun of reading and writing, and, on the other side, 5 fun and challenging activities for reading time. The activities are designed to expand a child's interest in and enthusiasm for reading and writing while also helping to improve these skills. In addition to the activities, there is a brief description of the America Reads Challenge, a monthly calendar of events, and a certificate that can be presented to readers who have reached their reading and writing goals.
