Abstract | This document outlines the strategic plan developed in 1999 by the Southeastern University and College Coalition for Engineering Education (SUCCEED). The organizational structure, overall goals and milestones, and core strategies of the SUCCEED Project are described. This plan overviews faculty development, outcomes assessment, student transitions, technology-based curriculum delivery, assessment and evaluation, and dissemination. Program descriptions for each of the member schools--Clemson University, Florida A&M University, Florida State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina State University, University of Florida, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University--are also presented.
