| Abstract | These three journals of contemporary cultural, historical, and social interest contain activities designed to enhance the awareness of students of Spanish as a foreign language regarding the entire panorama of daily life in Spain. Number 21 focuses on the role of modern Spanish women; their career status; female authors; and the changing place of women in Spanish society. Number 22 discusses humor in Spanish literature; the cultural context of humor; comic errors in speech and writing; and humor in daily life. Number 23 focuses on the Spanish cinema as a powerful communication tool; cinema as a cultural documentary; cinema as a language learning tool; cinema as an educator with extraordinary modern relevance; and cinema as an artistic and cultural vehicle.(CK) |
