| Abstract | The Virginia Council of Higher Education annually collects a variety of data on the activities of academic institutions in the state. This report presents data on the activities of Virginia's academic libraries during the 1990-91 academic year. Data are reported on collections, staff, expenditures, costs for monographs and periodicals, services and automation, and interlibrary loans. A short narrative summary precedes the data tables, and five sets of tables are included: a systemwide summary; separate sets for public four-year, public two-year, and independent institutions; and a ranking of all Virginia academic libraries according to 15 data elements.
