Abstract | This module presents a real-world context in which mathematics skills are used as part of a daily routine. The context is the radiological technology field, and the module aims to help students use ratios and exponents as part of real-life problem solving. Materials in the module, most of which are designed for the teacher to duplicate and distribute to students, include the following: (1) information on careers in the field of radiological technology; (2) a task to be performed; (3) task skills, information sheets, related problems, and a teacher's answer key; and (4) a glossary.
