Abstract	This is the first of three books in a series providing a systematic training program of relevant daily living skills for individuals with moderate to severe mental impairment. Useful terms and expressions are taught through crossword puzzles, experience stories, picture sequencing, flip books, word closure and other exercises. This book covers skills and processes relating to dusting, washing tables and countertops, washing windows, and washing dishes. Sample form letters to parents, skills profiles, and lists of goals and objectives are included for reproduction. An introductory chapter discusses the program rationale, chapter components, and guidelines for implementing a training program based on this system. Includes 12 references. (PB)
