Abstract | This book includes an annotated bibliography of approximately 150 journal articles, manuscripts, books, and audiovisual materials, as well as a listing of some of the parent training groups which have developed workshops and other resources for parent training on the topic of supported employment for persons with disabilities. In addition to bibliographic data, a short summary of the material's potential applicability and information on how to obtain copies are included. Parent training resources include parent perspective resources, parent training models, national and state projects for parent training, audiovisual aids, and trainer resources. Resources more specific to supported employment cover supported employment resources for persons with developmental disabilities, chronic mental illness, and traumatic brain injury, as well as social security and work incentive programs. Other groupings include resources on secondary transitions and personal futures planning. (PB) |
