The 10 chapters of the book are as follows: (1) "Preventing Reading Failure and Increasing Reading Achievement through Learning Styles"; (2) "Reading Styles: Applying Learning Styles Concepts to the Teaching of Reading"; (3) "Matching Reading Methods and Individual Reading Styles: A Crucial New Concept in Reading Instruction"; (4) "How to Match Reading Methods to Individual Reading Styles"; (5) "Selecting and Adapting Reading Materials to Match Individual Reading Styles"; (6) "The Carbo Recorded Book Method: Matching Global/Visual Reading Styles"; (7) "Teaching Children to Read through Tactile and Kinesthetic Resources"; (8) "Teaching Children to Read through Programmed Learning Sequences (PLS)"; (9) "Teaching Children to Read through Contract Activity Packages (CAPs)"; and (10) "Teaching Children to Read through Multisensory Instructional Packages (MIPs)."
